I had a great day out with Becky & Kev on their engagement shoot. We had chosen Killerton House near Exeter as the location due to special relevance to Becky. I was a little bit worried due to the weather, but looking at the forecast the day before there were a few dry patches in the morning. Waking up early to make sure I had all the equipment I needed, so I would get to Killerton for 9 am. When I arrived Becky & Kev were already waiting for me in the car park. So I crabbed my bag and we headed straight for the gardens, any National Trust House has great gardens even in winter. With Killerton House being close by I have a good knowledge of the gardens and key area’s to use. This helps me in two very important ways, the first is to provide a photo to be framed & mounted for guests to sign. And the second is to build a connection with the couple, so they trust me directing them. After about 2 hours of taking photo’s I had a quick look through them on the back of the camera, and I knew I had some great shots. Once I edited them I sent over a selection for Becky & Kev to look at, from these they choose 1 for me to mount for the wedding day.
