Hi this is me, my name is James I am a husband and father to 2 wonderful boys.
I always find it difficult to talk about myself, so what do I say?
Firstly I love what I do, I am very lucky to have a job which I can say that about. Photography truly is a passion of mine.
The first memory I have is using my mum’s camera to take family photos on holiday. From that moment on I was captivated, it gave me the passion for capturing precious memories.
From school to university I have always used photography in my work but my love of Wedding Photography did not start till later. While I was working at Jessops I had the opportunity to be a second shooter. This showed me a whole new side to photography and I was hooked, I loved being swepted up in the emotions of the day . From that point onward’s I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
I have now been photographing wedding for 5 years, I am still learning and growing as a photographer with every wedding being unique.
I become so connected to the bride & groom as I am with them for the whole day, so getting to know them is at the core of my philosophy.
To achieve this I organise informal meetings to talk through the wedding day, venue visits and an engagement shoot. I am always willing to answer any questions you have to make sure you have one less thing to worry about on your special day.
I get excited when new couples contact me and invite me to be part of their special day. I make sure that I am not a distraction, I blend into the background quietly capturing every event. Whatever your photographic needs, I hope that the galleries throughout the site give you a little sense of the great pleasure I take in working with people.
I take pride in the ability to put people at ease in front of the camera, I am never happier than when I am taking pictures.
Anticipation, emotion, happiness, smiles, and tears are all part of your special day and I will make sure that I capture all of these little moments so you don’t miss a minute. I hope you enjoy exploring my site and it has inspired you to get in touch.
